The warm, chestnut-colored rustic finish over figured Alder veneers creates a canvas of comfort and classic appeal. The six doors have vintage seeded glass and 2 adjustable wood shelves behind each door. Three felt-lined drawers, and the center drawer has a silverware tray. A total of six shelves for storage. Named for the Tynecastle area of Northern England, the 50-piece Tynecastle collection is inspired by the manor homes and equestrian life of the English countryside. Tynecastle combines classic Georgian architechural details with more rustic timber-frame elements and leather accents, creating a ''manor home to tack room'' Hunt Country flavor.

Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
  Finish Construction: Hooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes.
